2.44. Balancing of a disk with a gear wreath

Arrangement of balancing cargoes on a disk

Disk balancing is made by means of the cargoes fixed for edges of apertures of a disk.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To mark a disk in four places, отстоящих from each other on 90 degrees. 2. To establish on one of the marked places balancing cargo.

To check up

PERFORMANCE ORDER

To start the Engine, to include the transmission selector in neutral position and to track vibrations. If vibrations have increased, to rearrange balancing cargo on 180 '. If vibrations have decreased, to establish near to the first additional cargo. If vibrations remained at former level, to move balancing cargo on 90 . To continue similar operations while vibration will not decrease. Exact balancing is reached by small movings of cargoes. The prevention To check up reliability of fixing of balancing cargoes, to exclude their displacement at high frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine.
