2.34. Repair of the oil pump
THE GENERAL DATA

The prevention

At repair of the oil pump it is necessary to clear the oil pallet of a dirt, to replace the oil filter and to replace engine oil fresh.


To disassemble

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To merge oil from the pump.
2. A reception branch pipe in gathering with the filter.
3. A pump cover.
4. Pump gear wheels.
5. The reduktsionnyj valve:
      – A stopper or шплинт:
      – A spring;
      – The valve. If the valve is not taken out, отмочить the pump case in solvent for carburettor clearing.
The prevention

The valve spring has a preliminary tightness. In avoidance травмирования it is necessary to show care at dismantle of a stopper or шплинта.



To clear

PERFORMANCE ORDER
All details from a dirt, oil and adjournment. Strong adjournment can be removed, отмочив details in solvent for carburettor clearing.
The prevention

In order to avoid a poisoning it is necessary to avoid a steam inhalation and contact of solvent to open sites of a body.



To check up

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Presence of extraneous particles to find out the hit reasons.
2. The case of the pump and a cover on presence:
      – Cracks;
      – Scratches;
      – Defects of moulding;
      – The damaged carving apertures.
The pump case is not subject to repair. In the presence of defects to replace the case.
3. A shaft of an intermediate gear wheel if it is available. At leaky interface to replace the pump or a cover of a belt of a drive of a camshaft (depending on engine type).
4. The reduktsionnyj valve on presence:
      – Scratches;
      – Jamming traces.
Dents and agnails should be removed thin grinding бруском.
5. A spring редукционного the valve
      – On elasticity loss;
      – A bend.
In the presence of defects to replace a spring.
6. A reception branch pipe in gathering with the filter on presence:
      – Thinnesses, if a branch pipe запрессован in the pump case. If the branch pipe demountable or has been dismantled, to replace a branch pipe in gathering with the filter;
      – Damages of the mesh reception filter.
7. Gear wheels on presence:
      – выкрашивания a material;
      – задиров;
      – Deterioration.
8. A power shaft on presence:
      – Thinnesses in interfaces;
      – Deterioration.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To grease all internal details of the pump with engine oil.
2. Pump gear wheels. The gear wheel label should be from outside covers of a drive of the mechanism газораспределения.
The prevention

In order to avoid engine damage it is necessary to fill before installation of gear wheels all cavities oil го the pump консистентной mineral greasing for maintenance всасывания oils and its givings in system of greasing of the engine.


3. A cover and a lining.
The prevention

In order to avoid engine damages it is necessary to use only firm factory linings. The thickness of a lining is very important for normal work of the oil pump.


4. The reduktsionnyj valve and a spring.
5. A stopper.
The prevention

To put on a stopper carving condensing structure "Loctite 573" or similar to it. To tighten a stopper редукционного the valve (if it is available) the moment of 30 Nanometers.



To check up

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To dismantle the gauge of pressure of oil and to attach on its place a manometre.
2. To start the Engine and to measure pressure of oil.
The prevention

If pressure of oil is not established at once at normal level, it is necessary to remove the oil pallet and to check up connection of the pump with a reception branch pipe. If necessary to dismantle and disassemble the pump, to fill cavities of the pump and again to collect the pump. Work of the engine in the absence of pressure of oil will lead to serious damages of the engine.
