After end of any repair work with the steering mechanism it is necessary to check up neutral position рейки, corresponding to installation of operated wheels for rectilinear movement of the car.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To establish a lath of control and measuring adaptation KM-476 between heads of steering draughts. Thus the adaptation pin should enter into deepening of a seat left (in the direction of the car) the rubber plug.

2. To keep a steering wheel in position which corresponds to rectilinear movement of the car. At neutral position рейки the size And is equal 325 mm.

3. To check up observance of following conditions:
– The coupling bolt клеммового connections муфты should settle down from above a steering shaft, and its axis should be horizontal;
– Steering wheel spokes should be symmetrized concerning a vertical and to be directed downwards.
If the axis of a coupling bolt is located наклонно assemblage of the steering mechanism is made incorrectly (with displacement on one or several teeths рейки). In this case it is necessary to dismantle a shaft-gear wheel and anew to collect the mechanism. If the coupling bolt муфты is located horizontally, and steering wheel spokes несиммет ричны concerning a vertical (the deviation makes more than 5 degrees), it is necessary to remove a steering wheel from a steering shaft by means of stripper КМ-210А, to centre and establish it anew.
