In most cases for detection and elimination of the reasons of external leaks of a working liquid it is not required to dismantle transmission from the car.

The general method

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To be convinced that really working liquid of transmission follows.
2. Carefully to clear and wipe dry a suspicious place on картере transmissions.
3. To test the car run for distance about 24 km or before warming up of transmission to normal working temperature (88 С).
4. To establish the car on sheet of a pure cardboard or a paper.
5. To muffle the Engine and to examine the enclosed paper on presence of oil stains.
6. To eliminate the found out reasons of leaks of a working liquid.

Localisation of leaks by means of powder

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Carefully to clear and wipe dry a suspicious place on картере transmissions.
2. To cover a suspicious place with powder from aerosol packing.
3. To test the car run for distance about 24 km or before warming up of transmission to the normal worker температу ры (88 ).
4. To muffle the Engine.
5. To examine a suspicious place and to track on a trace of a liquid a leak place.
6. To eliminate the found out reasons of leaks of a working liquid.

Localisation of leaks by means of special dye

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To add dye in a working liquid through a jellied aperture in картере transmissions in the quantity recommended by the manufacturer.
2. To examine outside картер transmissions for detection of places of leaks of a liquid.
3. To eliminate the found out reasons of leaks of a working liquid.

Elimination of the reasons of leaks of a working liquid

After detection of places of leaks it is necessary to eliminate the reasons which have led to leaks of a working liquid. Following reasons of leaks of a working liquid are possible:

– cлабая an inhaling of carving connections;
– Corrosion damages and pollution of a carving of apertures in картере transmission or fixing details;
– Displacement, damage or deterioration of linings and consolidations;
– Damage or коробление condensed apertures and planes;
– Presence of jags or other damages on the platen of the switch of ranges;
– Increased люфт and deterioration of bearings which leads to fast deterioration of consolidations and plugs;
– Defects of moulding картера and covers (porosity);
– Too high level of a working liquid;
– A contamination of a ventilating aperture (сапуна);
– Water or antifreeze presence in a working liquid of transmission;
